Welcome to the official website of the RAS Liquidating Trust, established by the Liquidating Trustee as a result of the confirmed Second Amended Joint Plan of Liquidation (the "Plan") in the Chapter 11 case of RAS Data Services, Inc., Case No. 25-11837, pending before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
The Liquidating Trust was established to administer the remaining assets of the bankruptcy estate, reconcile claims, pursue retained causes of action, and make distributions to creditors in accordance with the confirmed Plan. This website serves as a source of information regarding the administration of the Trust and will be updated as material developments occur. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein have the meanings assigned to them in the Plan and/or the Liquidating Trust Agreement.

Distributions & Required Pre-Certifications
Distributions will be made in accordance with the priorities established under the confirmed Plan. The timing and amount of any distribution will depend upon, among other things:

Resolution of disputed claims;

Available Liquidating Trust assets;

Recoveries from retained causes of action;

Satisfaction of higher priority claims and required reserves.

A HOLDER OF AN ALLOWED CLAIM MUST COMPLETE AN IRS FORM W-9 AND OFAC CERTIFICATION AND RETURN BOTH TO THE LIQUIDATING TRUSTEE SO AS TO BE RECEIVED BY WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE DATE OF THE NOTICE OF EFFECTIVE DATE. ANY HOLDER OF AN ALLOWED CLAIM THAT FAILS TO TIMELY RETURN THE PRE-DISTRIBUTION CERTIFICATIONS SHALL BE DEEMED TO HAVE FORFEITED ITS RIGHT TO TO RECEIVE DISTRIBUTIONS AND SHALL FOREVER BE BARRED AND ENJOINED FROM ASSERTING ANY RIGHT TO DISTRIBUTIONS MADE PRIOR TO THE LIQUIDATING TRUSTEE'S RECEIPT OF THE EXECUTED CERTIFICATIONS.
Claims Administration
The amount of an asserted claim may change during the administration of the Liquidating Trust. The Liquidating Trustee retains the authority to reconcile, object to, estimate, settle, or otherwise resolve claims in accordance with the confirmed Plan and applicable law. Creditors are encouraged to monitor this website for updates regarding distributions and significant case developments.
Other Information
The confirmed Plan transferred substantially all remaining assets of the bankruptcy estate to the Liquidating Trust for the benefit of creditors. The Liquidating Trustee is responsible for administering the Liquidating Trust in accordance with the confirmed Plan and Liquidating Trust Agreement. Responsibilities include:

Reconciling and objecting to claims where appropriate.

Administering reserves for disputed claims.

Pursuing retained litigation and avoidance actions for the benefit of creditors.

Making distributions to holders of allowed claims.

Filing required reports and tax returns.

Completing the orderly wind down of the bankruptcy estate.
